The room was cramped and tiny, with hardly any light. Sewage coming up through the shower was disgusting.

The key pickup process is a bit complicated, but for around €130 per night the studio is pretty good. It’s a small ground-floor place looking onto a courtyard, suited to one or two people, with a well-equipped kitchenette and very effective heating, which was welcome in winter. You don’t hear the neighbors, though the constant metro coming and going is terribly loud, like elsewhere in the area. It doesn’t keep me awake, but I can see it being a deal-breaker for some. The hot water tank barely stretches to two showers.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location was great, with the metro just outside and lots of restaurants close by. The apartment’s small, but had everything we needed to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

We loved our stay. The apartment has everything you need and is right beside the metro. I highly recommend it.
