Le Katorze Hôtel

The hotel was good value for what I paid, and I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. It wasn't the best part of Paris, but it wasn't the worst either. My room was cute and worked well for a couple, though it was clean rather than spacious. I liked the view over the street, and the metro was just a few minutes away. The staff were friendly and greeted me. I stayed three nights, but didn't try breakfast. I also asked for the room not to be cleaned, so I can't comment on that service.

Our room was warm, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were upbeat, incredibly friendly, and always willing to help. Mohamed deserves a special mention 😊😎. We enjoyed the hospitality so much that we're already looking forward to coming back.

The rooms were a letdown too: tiny and uncomfortable, and nothing like the pictures online. The photos set up an appealing impression, but staying there felt like a nightmare. I went to reception after my gold bracelet went missing from my room. I know where I put my things, and they don't simply disappear. I'm extremely careful, so I felt I couldn't trust leaving my belongings there. I believe it was stolen, which is unacceptable. The staff offered no help, apology, or solution. They were cold, disrespectful, and showed no professionalism or concern for me as a guest. I came to Paris for work and expected a safe place to stay for three days. From the start, though, the staff were rude, unfriendly, and full of attitude, and made me feel unwelcome. I ended up feeling scared to leave my personal belongings in my own room. This place felt unsafe and unprofessional, and the experience was a complete scam. I strongly warn anyone thinking of booking: don't risk your money, safety, or peace of mind. I would never recommend this hotel for business, a vacation, or anything else. It was the worst experience of my life, and this place shouldn't even be called a hotel.

The room was small, but perfectly nice for a short stay. The lobby person was really nice, and the place was clean. There was good coffee to get the day started.
