Mercure Paris Arc de Triomphe Etoile

Breakfast was very nice and offered a wide selection, and the team looking after it were kind. The lobby team were kind too, though not very smiley. We had a privileged room on the street side, on the sixth floor. Street noise insulation was okay, and the bed was good, but the room felt small with our two big and two small suitcases. It was fine for one night. The air conditioning was so-so in hot weather, and the toilets weren't properly cleaned. There's no bar or restaurant, just a corner with a few drinks and chips. A Monoprix is only a few meters away, and a large public car park is a two-minute walk away for €45 a day. The hotel is well placed for the Arc de Triomphe and shopping areas. There are a few stairs at the entrance and no ramp for disabled people, while the bedrooms are reached by a small elevator.

The location was convenient in the city centre, and the staff were kind and helpful. We had a great stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

A heavy wall panel came down onto my back while I was in the bathroom and injured me. The hotel didn’t even have basic first aid supplies, not a single bandage. I felt deeply disappointed and unsafe. They were missing basic safety and responsibility.
