Hotel Relais Bergson

A very nice place to stay for a few days at a good price. The staff were polite and lovely, and the room was just good.

I arrived exhausted, but woke up feeling completely refreshed. My room faced the quiet courtyard and had comfortable furnishings. This lovely little hotel was perfectly placed for my morning appointment.

The warm, personal feel is what stood out to me at Relais Bergson. It’s a well-kept little boutique hotel where the service makes things feel familiar and comfortable, rather than impersonal. The team were sincerely friendly from the start and helped with directions, recommendations, luggage storage, and transport tips. The rooms were bright, clean, functional, and surprisingly spacious for Paris, with modest but tasteful décor that made them restful after a day out. They’d suit a solo guest or a couple. It’s also easy to get around from here. The metro is a minute away, the 26 bus stop is just steps away, and there’s a local farmer's market nearby. The area has restaurants and cafés too, including a well-regarded pizzeria run by a friendly Italian couple. The breakfast is simple and classic: fresh viennoiseries like croissants and pains au chocolat, baguette, butter, jams, and café au lait or another hot drink. It’s satisfying and included at a fair price. For Paris, the rooms are affordable given the cleanliness, service, and location. Whether you’re visiting for work, a short weekend, or a longer holiday, it’s a comfortable, cared-for place to stay.

I regret booking this hotel. The room was small, the photos and descriptions didn’t match what we found, and the toilet board was broken. Staff also asked guests to leave in an unkind way. Walking to the metro felt dangerous after a homeless man asked me for money. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever encountered. I hope others think carefully before booking.
