Timhotel Palais Royal

The bathroom in the comfort single room I’d booked was so tiny you couldn’t shower in it, though the room itself was decent enough for two. For my last night, they gave me a ground floor double room with a really spacious bathroom, which was the highlight. I’d originally booked two nights, then fell in love with Paris and asked to stay an extra day. Edwah, sorry if I’ve spelled that wrong, and Peter kindly extended my stay at the same rate and gave me the best room for that final night. Reception, housekeeping, and the manager were all friendly, polite, and helpful. The location is central, about a 10 minute walk to Louvre Museum, 20 minutes to Tulieries garden, and 25 minutes to Champs Elsyees. A nice, decent hotel.

Sammy was especially kind and made our trip feel special. All the staff were lovely, and the rooms and beds were comfortable. The hotel is right in the centre of Paris, so it was easy to get everywhere. Would highly recommend 😊

We loved staying here. The breakfast is excellent, and it’s about a 10 minute walk to the Louvre. The rooms are clean, the cleaning and kitchen staff are professional, and for what you pay it’s a well run place. It’s not meant to be a five star luxury hotel. The rooms and beds are suitably small for Europe and just fine.

The area felt safe and was an easy walk from many of Paris’s bigger sights. The room was on the small side, but perfect for my husband and me since we mostly just slept there. The staff were incredible, helpful and kind, and made us feel welcome. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re in Paris.
