The location is a little out of the way, so you’ll need a car to get around. Still, the owners are so welcoming they make you feel like part of the family, and the food is really good, mostly homemade. I’ll definitely be back.

There was loud noise outside all day and early in the morning. The place itself is nice, but the people came across as very arrogant and didn’t give us privacy. When we were out of the room, they came in and opened the rooms, and I don’t know why.
The meals and breakfast were excellent, with everything homemade, including pastries baked in a wood-fired oven and local products. We found this guesthouse during a long weekend cycling trip and were so glad we did. The welcome was warm, and the renovated rooms were peaceful. Such a lovely, friendly place to stay!
Everything was homemade, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was just as good, with the same care for homemade quality. Our hosts were warm and helpful, and the stay in that enchanting setting felt unforgettable. A lovely place for a getaway, easy to recommend.
The next morning’s breakfast had plenty of choice, and our hostess was kind and welcoming as she served local products: several kinds of bread, different jams, yogurt with assorted cereals, orange juice, coffee, and tea. We felt very well looked after. There was also a folder in the room with information about local activities and sights, so a longer stay would have plenty to do. It’s a place I’d recommend for a day or several, and the lovely people running it took such warm care of us. Thank you! We spent one night in room 1 while passing through. The bed was comfortably firm, the room could be made very dark, and we both slept well. The bathroom might seem dated to some, but it was clean, undamaged, in good shape, and fully usable. I had no complaints. I especially liked the washcloths on the cabinet alongside three generous bath towels. They’re a typical Dutch invention, and you hardly see them even in the Netherlands these days with standard showering, so having them there was a handy way to wash properly in the room. Great extra. Upstairs in the hall by the rooms there was another toilet, with a coffee station and microwave across from it. You could quickly make a Senseo coffee or tea, which was convenient and kept clutter out of the room. After arriving, checking in, and bringing in our luggage, we took a short walk around the area. Later we sat on the terrace in the evening sun with a delicious apple-raspberry juice. The hostess even offered to have us join her for dinner on arrival night, but we got there too late. It’s a very nice spot for a short or longer stay.
