Eden Park Hotel Restaurant

The hotel’s spot beside the lake is a real treat. The views are wonderful, and there’s plenty of wildlife, so bring binoculars or a camera if you like watching it. I had a very pleasant stay and hope to return next year. It was nice to see the Christmas decorations going up, too. The person putting them up worked hard all day, and they looked magnificent. I especially liked the little train circling the bottom of one tree. Thanks for the warm welcome back. It felt good to be remembered. My room was a bit small, but the bed was comfortable. A couple more power points would’ve been useful, though I appreciated the one in the bathroom for my electric toothbrush. Breakfast had a wide selection, and dinner was good as well. You don’t often see a Trou Normand on the dessert menu, and it was wonderful. Merci beaucoup.

The hotel sits right by a beautiful lake, and the staff’s service makes up for the tired decor and rooms. Well worth a visit.

The lake view is beautiful, and the location is convenient. The beds were fairly good, but the rooms and furnishings are worn out. WiFi was ridiculously bad throughout the hotel. We asked for a table for two at dinner so we wouldn’t have to drive back to Pont l’Eveque, but they turned us down because we hadn’t booked, even though there were lots of empty tables. The hotel restaurant is the only one by the lake, with no other nearby options.

We were welcomed warmly and were able to check in a few hours before the official time. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with guests’ needs. We spent two nights here on our motorbike trip through Normandyand, and it was good value. We’ll definitely be back next year. There’s a lovely lake with a man made beach across from the hotel and some water activities. A racing track is nearby, but you can’t hear it. Pont l'Eveque is a picturesque village, and the area felt very safe. We even walked back from Pont L'Eveque late in the evening. Breakfast was nice and good value, too.
