The setting really makes this place: the manor looks out over the Cher River and sits right in the middle of a lovely little town, with shops and other amenities close by. It’s also about five minutes from the zoo and under half an hour from most Loire Valley châteaux. The house itself is spacious, full of character, and tastefully renovated, mixing old and modern touches. There’s a garden with outdoor seating and a barbecue, plus a billiards room for winding down. All three bedrooms, including the two family suites, have their own bathroom with a walk-in shower, and the beds are very comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from linens, towels, and toiletries to a bottle of wine and small welcome gifts. The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating, and the housekeeper gave us a warm welcome. Even though the owner doesn’t live there, she makes sure things are well organized. We felt looked after without losing that comfortable, relaxed feel. It exceeded our expectations and was excellent value. A real gem, we’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

Betty was lovely to deal with and quick to reply. The manor’s also well placed for outings to the castles and Beauval Zoo. We had a great family stay, and the tasteful renovation made it a lovely place to come back to. It was especially helpful that there was a high chair, little bath, toys, and other things for our one-and-a-half-year-old son. We’d happily recommend this beautiful manor.

Saint-Aignan was a lovely place to wander, with its narrow streets and lots of little shops. The owner was welcoming and even pointed us toward some nice places to try wines. We’d love to return after such a good long weekend with friends. The manor is beautiful and had plenty for both the little ones and the adults, including a travel cot, high chairs, educational toys, linens, towels, dishes, and even slippers. The beds were great, every bedroom had its own bathroom, and the kitchen felt inviting. It was a refreshing break just a short distance from Paris. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The Manor had so much to keep us busy, with a barbecue, board games, billiards, foosball, and more. We went to the zoo, but honestly, if we’d known how much there was to enjoy at the house, we might have spent the whole time there. We came for a weekend away with friends, and once we arrived, we were taken by the place. It’s beautiful and comfortable, and everything was set up to make the stay feel special. The service was impeccable. Thanks to Betty and Valérie for all their work. We’ll be back!
