The setting is lovely for getting out into nature, with mountain views, open meadows, and a little stream running through the garden. It’s also a handy base for exploring the plateau, the valleys, and small villages across three regions of France. Our room was clean and cozy, and the owners were warm and thoughtful. They made delicious food from local ingredients with real care. Highly recommended for nature lovers and families with children.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lépadou Bas, and the Aubrac region of Aveyron deserves more than just a quick stop. Our room, called "Spring," was spacious and comfortable, and the place was wonderfully quiet. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and served a very generous breakfast. A little stream runs beside the pleasant terrace, though in May it was too chilly for us to enjoy either the terrace or the jacuzzi. The renovated old barn sits down a small path amid greenery, just outside St Chély d'Aubrac, with parking at the top.

The hosts were kind throughout our stay and gave us great suggestions for walks and places to see nearby. Breakfast was a real treat, generous and carefully prepared, with homemade jams and yogurts, bread, fouace, cheese, cereal, and orange juice. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and there was Aubrac tea and coffee too. We arrived at about 6:30 pm on Saturday, February 14th, after the 5 pm check-in began. The owners welcomed us warmly, explained the room, and told us breakfast ran from 8 to 10. One of them even asked what we usually drink in the morning so they could suit our preferences. It’s a peaceful place, and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much!
