There’s a small pool for cooling off, and the setting makes it easy to relax and enjoy a few happy days. The cottage sits right by the majestic Indian Ocean waves, with a beautifully kept garden. Its 19th-century character comes through in the authentic construction and furniture, while the modern decor remains practical and keeps the original spirit. We felt very much at ease.

It’s about a 10-minute drive outside St. Pierre, but we found it a great base for exploring Réunion, with places like St. Pierre and Piton de la Fournaise volcano making easy day trips. The secure parking was a plus, especially for a group rental, as was the number of bathrooms. The bedrooms are spacious, and the outdoor areas are great for meals outside. The Creole villa keeps its old-world charm while offering modern decor and excellent amenities. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!
