The attic room was huge, full of old fashioned furniture, and very private. We hardly saw anyone except at breakfast, and that vintage style was exactly what we wanted. The hairdryer was excellent, too. St Remy was an easy walk and a great base for us, though the road felt a little dangerous after dark. We managed with a flashlight. There’s plenty to do in town, and the Alpilles are close by for hikes. Breakfast was good, but all sweet. I was fine with it, though my partner would have liked cheese or meat. There was body wash but no hand soap, which is a basic thing to be missing at this price. We also would have appreciated a wine opener in the room. The pool looked poorly maintained. I used it once and found lots of dead insects floating in it, which put me off.

The garden and cypress trees made a beautiful setting, and the pool was lovely for a swim. Every morning at St Madeleine, breakfast felt fit for royalty, served on gorgeous porcelain, with fresh fruit, pastries, and strong coffee. The bedrooms and bathrooms were pretty too. St Remy left us with lovely memories of its architecture, markets, exhibitions, tearooms, cobbled streets, warm sunshine, and lively atmosphere. We also visited the Van Gogh museum and found olive oil, cooking herbs, lavender, soaps, and provincial pudding. The surrounding scenery was wonderful. CAVNbrittanyseas#EFLMUSIC

The location is ideal, just a stone’s throw from Saint-Rémy. Our room was very spacious, and breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Madeleine was welcoming but still discreet. The farmhouse is magnificent and the pool very pleasant. A superb stay, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Julie, Guillaume, and Agathe

Everything made it easy to relax: the calm, the kindness, the smiles, the cleanliness, the welcome, and a superb breakfast. Very good value for money. We’ve always had an excellent stay and highly recommend it.
