The location worked for us, with buses to the center, though we chose to walk and it took about 30 minutes. The quieter side of the stay was that everything else I haven't mentioned went smoothly. I booked through booking.com. Still, the service was awful. The staff's English wasn't very good, which made communication difficult. The room cost far too much for the quality of the beds and the amount of space. The pillows were unpleasant, seemed a bit dirty, and weren't good for sleeping. At night, the air circulation system was extremely loud and couldn't be switched off. A pretty average place in Strasbourg that covers the basics, nothing more.

The hotel is handy for transport, with the train station not too far away and a tram stop just a two-minute walk from the door. I also liked how the bathroom was laid out and how large it was. There was no hair dryer, though. The room itself was small and dirty, the corridors smelled, and the upper floor was noisy.

We'd booked several rooms for 20 young people from my NGO to attend the European Youth Event (EYE) in Strasbourg, June 12-15, 2025. The hotel had confirmed the reservation well ahead of time, then cancelled it six weeks before the stay because the name on the credit card didn't match the guests' names. We'd already supplied the names of the 10 people responsible for the rooms, which should have been enough. They didn't contact us to clarify anything or try to resolve it. The cancellation was made unilaterally, leaving us with serious financial and logistical problems. Finding other accommodation for a large group during a major event week was nearly impossible. I'm extremely disappointed by how unprofessional and uncommunicative this was, and wouldn't recommend the hotel for group travel or anyone who needs reliable service.

The location is nice, but the staff seem to just go through the motions at work.
