Suite Place de l'Etoile

The owner was very nice and gave me a lot of help. The apartment is close to the city center and the long-distance bus stop, and the view from the windows and balcony is wonderful. You can see the main cathedral in full.

Helpful host, excellent place to stay, and a great location.

We called to ask whether we could store our luggage and were met with a particularly rude, hostile person. There was no polite greeting, just an aggressive tone and behavior that felt completely inappropriate toward potential guests. That call made us not want to stay there at all. It's hard to see what someone with such a bitter, unpleasant attitude is doing in hospitality. Maybe a different line of work would suit them better.

We had two small balconies, fine for the three of us, and could use the kitchen and refrigerator. We didn't cook, but had breakfast in the kitchen and kept cold drinks in the fridge. Tea and Nespresso coffee were available. The listing calls it a bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast provided, so you need to sort that out yourself. The accommodation is the upper floor of the owner's house, with two bedrooms, a shower, and a toilet. We stayed Monday to Friday. From Tuesday on, the woman slept elsewhere, which gave us more privacy. The old town is nearby and there are lots of places to eat and drink. Finding free parking was a struggle, though. It often seemed full, so we kept driving; you can park along the road, but we weren't lucky and might have had to leave the car some distance away. We explored plenty of options and had a good time. The location is good, but we wouldn't stay here again.
