The grounds are beautifully arranged, and the washrooms were clean. We stopped for a night in December while passing through, when prices were low because it was off-season. The campsite was easy to locate. The bar and restaurant were shut, just as the website had said.

Taradeau is nearby, a cute little village, though it doesn’t have many options. We were there in early November on our way home, and the site was quiet with only a few people around. We had our VW classic camper connected to electricity. The modern toilets and showers were nice. The pool was closed and very green, which made sense after the bad weather and at that time of year. I can imagine it gets popular in summer.

The couple who run the place were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and I’d come back if I’m in the area again. Our pitch was great, and the whole site looked lovely and spotless. The facilities were very clean, and the pool, bar, and restaurant area was great too.

Bring your own bed linen, which seems to be the rule at campsites in France. We only stayed for one night, but were really pleased with our choice. The people there seem to manage the grounds well, and everything was spotless. There’s a restaurant on-site with really good food and drinks. I’d recommend it.
