Campanile PRIME - Lyon Ouest Tassin

At breakfast, which was great, I spoke to other guests from the third floor who had also been bitten by insects in their rooms. I had dealt with all three in mine, so there weren’t any left in my room. Dear Rose, I hope you can disinfect at least the whole third floor, though treating every room would be better. This was a terrible stay because insects were biting me while I slept. Avoid the place if you can.

I needed somewhere urgently, and this hotel turned out better than I expected. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, and good value, with friendly staff. The rooms are small but adequate, and the location is a little far from the center, though not too bad. The corridor smelled a bit and could use a scent diffuser. A very nice hotel for the price.

Getting to the rooms means hauling your luggage up stairs without any help. The staff were rude and argumentative, and breakfast ran out before they took their time bringing more. The only meat was ham, no bacon. Why? The orange juice tasted off, and the coffee wasn’t great either. Terrible hotel.

The room was small but fine, clean and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were good, and the value was excellent. My first stay at a Campanile hotel went really well. I came back again, and it was still good.
