It’s about a 10-minute walk to the town center, and be sure to see the Citadelle, walk along the ramparts, and look for places from “The Way.” We were greeted so warmly, with cheerful faces everywhere. My bed was very comfortable, the room had everything I needed, and breakfast was so filling I barely needed lunch. The staff really show what’s so good about French hospitality. I love this place and would come back to town just to stay here again. It was my favorite hotel on the Camino, and this is my second time doing the Frances. The grounds are peaceful and cute, and the people working there are kind, relaxed, and incredibly thoughtful. It’s tucked into a lovely part of town, about a 10-minute walk from SJPDP center. The rooms are really nice, and the €10 breakfast is absolutely bomb. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was delicious and kept me going all day. I stayed the night before starting my Camino, and it was a great start. The bed was comfy, and the shower had fantastic pressure and hot water. The couple who own the hotel are very kind. It may not be a five-star place, but I had zero complaints for what it is. Thank you! 💜

The countryside views were beautiful, and there’s a lovely old church next door. My room was comfortable and clean, and the continental breakfast had a good range: bread, croissant, yogurt, meat, cheese, fruit, coffee, and tea. It costs extra. I had a good stay at the start of the Camino and would recommend it to other walkers. My only issue was the ensuite bath and shower: the shower head wouldn’t stay put, which made showering difficult, and the folding glass door kept swinging open.

The local produce at breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight. The building is beautiful, up on a hill with a view over much of the neighboring town and right beside a magnificent church. It has an older style but was comfortable, and the staff were lovely and accommodating.
