After a 14-hour drive, arriving late, the little touches meant a lot: coffee with a few different choices, shampoo, and some sweets. The room was cozy, clean, and neatly styled, with a nice mix of old and new. The bathroom was inside the room, though the toilet had its own door. The owner was there to show me around, explain where things were, and tell me where to leave the key. The area was interesting, with no traffic nearby, but a garage close enough to park the car.

We had what we needed for a lovely few nights in Valence. A great spot for a romantic little getaway.

We couldn’t get into the accommodation, even though we’d given them our arrival time, as nobody was there to let us in and we couldn’t reach them. The closest car park also meant tackling a lot of steep steps. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was great, and I liked having a big TV with Netflix. It’s quiet despite being right in the center. Just be aware that the shower and toilet are in the bedroom, so it’s only a good fit if you’re comfortable sharing those intimate moments.

Quiet and central, with clean parquet floors, nice towels, and vintage decor. There was heating, a microwave, and a capsule coffee machine with free coffee. Thanks so much, Don Philip.
