The staff were friendly, but a lot of the hotel feels outdated. It seems like its best days were about 10 years ago and could use a refurb.

The front desk team was great, but breakfast and housekeeping didn’t feel like four-star or Accor group level service. There was no latte or cappuccino, and families with kids got very few greetings at breakfast, while other couples were greeted more warmly. It left us feeling as if we had to apologize for being a family.

We got a warm welcome from staff who were friendly and helpful, and the room was nice, as you’d expect from a Mercure. The location worked well for us: away from town but still close enough, with easy access and parking. The boats for island visits are just a few minutes’ walk away. Town is also within walking distance, along a lovely route.

Disappointed. It cost too much for what we got. The only real positive was the friendly night receptionist. I’m sure there are plenty of other options in Vannes.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was fine, and the staff were really friendly. Our room was quite small, and the paint needed touching up in places. Water drained very slowly from both the washbasin and shower tray. We ate at the restaurant once during our four-night stay, and the food was excellent. The location was excellent for us.
