The host was lovely, and the village itself was very nice and clean. We stayed in a large second-floor apartment with a kitchen, living room, spacious bedroom, and private bathroom. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with simple decor that suits the building’s age. Really nice place, highly recommend 👍

The building is beautiful inside and out, and we really enjoyed our two nights in the family section. The welcome was warm, and we appreciated the amenities. One thing that would help is having a fan or two. In summer, the bedroom and living room get hot at night because of the orientation, even with the windows open. But open windows also let in street noise early in the morning 🤭

The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good. Malika was friendly, and there’s parking nearby. But the room is on the top floor and gets direct sun all day, making it unbearably hot day and night in summer. It felt like a 45°C (113°F) oven, and we couldn’t sleep at all. We’d booked two nights but left after the first. What surprised us was that the owner didn’t seem concerned or offer another room, even though we didn’t see any other guests. The shower pressure was low too. It’s about half an hour from everything, along a winding road.

Malika and her partner gave us a very warm welcome, and we loved the comfortable, clean room. Breakfast was served in a pleasant dining room with a beautiful view of the Corbières mountains. Dinner is available on site too. The guesthouse is calm and quiet, a perfect base for a stay in the area. We highly recommend it and thank Malika again.
