The restaurant had some good food, especially the locally caught fish, though service could take a while, particularly for room service. There’s a large outdoor lounge area with some sheltered spots for rainy weather, plus parking where most spaces are at least partly shaded. The showers were great, and the extra long baths were a welcome surprise since I usually can’t stretch out in a tub. The hotel sits by a lake and close to the airport, with Marseille centre about a 15-minute train ride away. Trains run for most of the night. For a low price, we got a spacious room with a cozy, classic look and a modern touch. Staff were helpful and spoke very good English. The Wi-Fi was excellent: I streamed 4K while downloading work files at 5mb/s. It turned out to be one of my best travel stays.

The shared bathrooms and showers were new to me, but for the price it was still a good stay. The people were polite, though very few spoke much English. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back.

A good budget option near the airport. The walk there is a bit rough, since the route cuts across some private dirt paths.

A scruffy place, but very convenient for catching flights.

The location is convenient, close to both the airport and the train station.
