A couple of practical things to know: there’s no parking at the accommodation, so you’ll need a nearby public car park, though it’s only a short walk. The rooms are upstairs in a pub and there’s no lift, so heavy luggage could be a challenge. Staff can help if you let them know. The location is very handy for getting into Bath city centre. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with plenty of hot water for showers. Breakfast was especially delicious and became one of the highlights of our stay. Highly recommended for a trip to Bath.

We couldn’t get into our room elsewhere until after 3 pm, so we used the Stasher bag service here. It was great. Staff were helpful and friendly, the place was clean and well cared for, and it had the homely feel you want in a pub.

The rooms above the pub were clean and had all we needed, and check-in was simple. It’s around six minutes on foot from Bath Spa Station, with everything central close by. We also really liked the pub: it had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, was dog friendly, and served tasty food at reasonable prices. There’s a good choice of beers, and breakfast was more than sufficient. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it, especially if you’re travelling with a dog.

The bar has a great atmosphere, the food is good and the staff are friendly. The room was clean and well equipped, though it wasn’t luxurious. I loved the building’s quirky character. It’s right in the centre, so noise is understandable, but the windows don’t do much to keep it out. I wouldn’t suggest it for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
