The apartment was spotless and had all the comforts I could’ve wanted. Paul and Lyn were fabulous hosts, and I felt as if I were staying with nice relatives. I spent July 2024 at Tyrella House while taking a woodworking class down the road. The Devil's Stone Inn is right across the street, so a meal out and a good drink are always close by, dangerously convenient! I’d love to return to this tranquil village and enjoy Paul and Lyn’s hospitality again, maybe with another Otter Amber across the way. Thanks to them both for a glorious stay.

The owners are lovely and can point you towards some fantastic places near Shebbear. For a meal and a pint, The Devil Stone pub is just across the road, with amazing food and a good choice of drinks. We’ve stayed in this beautiful self-contained apartment twice now and will definitely be back. We’d happily recommend it.

We had everything we needed to feel comfortable, and the beds were lovely with really nice linen. The apartment was spotless. Thanks to Lyn and Paul for such a relaxing holiday and for making us feel so welcome. They even left milk, tea, and coffee. We hope to visit again soon. Melanie Steve & Meghan
