I attended an event at the Kingfisher in Bedford, and the service and respect I received were second to none. I know people are often quick to complain, but the staff’s approach was professional and friendly from booking through to the event. Millie and Liam were exceptional. They helped with my needs without fuss and treated me with real professionalism. I have disability needs, and they made me feel like one of the crowd, which is exactly what I needed. I’m extremely impressed. Well done, and thank you so much. I hope your managers know what exceptional staff you are.

The food was great, and the drinks were good too. We also had a deal where the kids ate free. At first, though, we couldn't get any service. I called out to a waiter a couple of times; he glanced over, looked down, and walked away. Once our waitress was assigned to us, she was great.

My son got married here, and the day went smoothly from start to finish. It's a beautiful venue, and the staff were so helpful, organised, and focused on looking after everyone. They were absolutely fabulous.

The restaurant and bar are smart, and the setting by the river is really nice. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly with good service. I'd recommend it.

Apres at the jetty review only I went with a group of friends and had a lovely time, but £30 each for so little food is hard to justify. We chose from the meats and picked two sides to share between two: six slices of sausage, two pieces of prosciutto, six steak cubes, six pepperoni slices, two portions of fries, and the cheese. That came to £60. A drink is included, but even with that I don't think it's worth close to £30. I'd put it at a little over £20, even allowing for the fires, fondue dishes and stands, heaters, and other overheads that may be behind the price. I would come back if it cost that much, though. We really did enjoy ourselves, just not the price.
