The parking lot was the main drawback for me. It’s very small, with columns in the middle, and was tricky to navigate in a rental car when I’m used to driving on the other side of the road. I’d happily give five stars otherwise. Breakfast was amazing, and Kirsten at the front desk was so helpful. We left our bags in storage before check-in, and by the time we returned they were already in our room. Thank you, Kirsten. We stayed at four different hotels during our week in Ireland, and this was the best one. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the city centre, which isn’t too bad. I’m glad I picked this over the titanic hotel.

Back for a second stay at this fantastic hotel. The room was very clean and classy. Staff are really friendly, there are plenty of bars nearby, and breakfast is great. The free secure parking is a bonus, but arrive early if you want a space. I’ll definitely be back.

The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choice for different diets, and the off-street parking was a nice extra. Sophie and Millie in particular were so friendly, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. What a gem of a hotel in Belfast. I’ll definitely stay again and would gladly recommend it.

The location was my one gripe: it’s a bit away from the city’s main attractions and not easy to walk to them, though it is close to the train station. Still, Tara Lodge was one of the best places we stayed during our two weeks around Ireland. It’s a quaint hotel, fairly priced for the experience, with clean rooms and good beds and showers. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating, which was refreshing after some of our other stays. We liked the Halloween decorations. Parking behind the hotel was easy and secure, and breakfast was very good. The servers were working hard.

Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were so attentive. There were nice little touches in the room too, like fresh milk and toiletries. Great hotel, I’d stay again.
