The location made it easy to explore Betws-Y-Coed on foot, and nearby transport was handy for trips farther into North Wales. I also felt really welcome from the moment I arrived. The owners and the lovely staff at Olif were so helpful, I really didn't want to leave. The rooms are beautifully put together and great value. Breakfast uses local produce and was excellent, and the Welsh tapas downstairs was just as good in the evening. I’ve eaten there a few times, and they use local ingredients where they can. You can taste the difference. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

The restaurant’s evening menu was incredible, and breakfast had plenty of choice, including vegetarian and vegan options. We had a beautiful stay at Olif this week. The location was excellent and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back.

We booked room 5 as a stop on the way to pick up our youngest from Bangor University, and the surroundings turned out to be unexpectedly beautiful. The Welsh breakfast was delicious, one of the best I’ve had in a while. My wife was just as happy with her pancakes. We’ll probably stay again on future university runs, and spend more time exploring Betws y coed.

The setting and atmosphere were lovely, and the meal was great value. The staff were really nice, too. The food was absolutely delicious. I only managed to take a picture of the bread board because I was too busy eating!

We had a lovely stay, with a clean, warm room and attentive staff. We were lucky to get a table for dinner without booking, and the food was delicious. The Cherry Bakewell Gin in the minibar was lush. Shops are close by, including a local shop, and there are plenty around if you need outerwear. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll definitely be back, it’s perfectly placed for exploring.
