The place smelled strongly of damp, and the owner confirmed there'd been a recent flood. The carpets were still wet, the bath was blocked, and some toilets had urine in them. I can stay in all sorts of places, but this one was unliveable, even for a few nights. We got a refund through the booking website, but the owner refused to return the deposit because they'd already changed the bedding. Absolute carnage. Avoid this squalor hole.

This place advertises free parking, but it's actually residents-only and you need a pass or you'll get a ticket. I'm sick of this place. I highly doubt the owner has a licence to run it as a holiday home.

After a flood caused by previous visitors, the owner hadn't made sure the property was dried out. The damp smell throughout was foul and overwhelming, and the sofa smelled awful too. Loose wires in the dining area were a danger to children, while damaged, loose vinyl in the kitchen could trip someone. The bath was blocked and still had water in it when we arrived, and there was urine in the WC. The gardens were generally neglected, with rubbish, weeds and even a screwdriver lying around. When we complained, the owner had a poor attitude. If you're thinking of booking, don't. You'll be bitterly disappointed.

We had a young child with us, and the weekend got off to a terrible start. The garden was full of rubbish, and the moment we went inside we were hit by a damp, musty stink that started hurting my chest. Loose wires were lying on the floor, dangerous for anyone, especially children. The bath was blocked and full of water, and the toilet had unflushed urine in it. The dishes were filthy, and there were red marks with fingerprints in the kitchen that looked suspiciously like blood. The windows and glass panels were covered in what looked like years of dust, and the table and other surfaces were dirty too. The owners refused a refund. Now we're trying to get this sorted while our young child misses bedtime and we look for somewhere else. Avoid at all costs, absolutely disgraceful. Worst place.

Smelly and rotten, absolutely disgusting. This place ruined a weekend people had worked hard for. Avoid at all costs.
