Lynwood Hotel

We were there Monday to Friday, and the room was cosy and very comfortable. Sam was a warm, friendly host, and his breakfasts were superb! It’s a great base for getting around South Shore, and the price was more than decent. We’d definitely come back. Thanks, Sam!

A couple of minutes from Pleasure Beach, the location was perfect. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The English breakfast was excellent, and the booking was great value too. Thanks, Stuart and Emily.

The host went above and beyond. Lovely room, fabulous breakfast, and an absolutely lovely stay.

We never even got to stay, and the way this was handled put us off completely. When we arrived after booking through Expedia, nobody was there. The owner said he hadn’t received a booking and asked us to call again. We tried several times while waiting outside in the cold with our two children. Eventually he said he’d come in 15 minutes, but after another 20 minutes there was still no sign of him. He didn’t answer when we called again. Expedia couldn’t reach him either. About an hour later, while we were still on the phone to them, he called back but left no message and offered no apology or fix. I can’t say what caused the booking problem, but there was no real effort to help us, even with the children stuck outside. We won’t book this hotel or use Expedia again.
