I booked a room from Friday to Sunday a week ahead, then arrived with my young children after a long train journey only to be told the booking had been cancelled. They gave no explanation beyond saying people book and don’t turn up. The individual basically walked away, leaving me and the children with nowhere to sleep. Disgusting behaviour, poor management, and a rude, incompetent person. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Carol was such a lovely, friendly owner and made us feel welcome during our six nights. The room was clean and nice, the bed was comfy, and we loved the breakfast. It made our stay great. Thanks, Carol and Steve. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Michelle and Lee.

The owners are lovely and look after you, so it wasn’t too bad. Still, there’s nothing special about the place, and I wouldn’t recommend staying longer than one night, or recommend it to anyone.
