Sunny Ives is only a few metres off the prom, between the pleasure beach and tower, so the location worked perfectly for my driving course. The cooked breakfasts are gorgeous, too. I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. Louise and Paul are lovely, really friendly, and go all out to make sure you’re comfortable and have what you need. I’ll definitely be back, next time with my kids. Thanks for making the stay so enjoyable.

The stairs are a killer when you’re on the top floor, and there’s no parking. The place could use a bit of decorating, and the kettle in our room wouldn’t switch off, so we had to unplug it. We’ll let the owners know. That aside, we had a lovely stay. The family room was big, with an ensuite, and everything was clean. The beds were comfortable, and our daughter, who has spd, found it comfortable and clean too. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent. The friendly owners were always happy to help or chat, and it had a homely feel. Breakfast was freshly cooked, tasted lovely, and came in a nice range of choices. I’d definitely recommend it. We’re coming back.

The bedroom was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. The location is good, just off the promenade and close to a tram stop, with the big attractions not far away. We were there out of season, so the room clearly hadn’t been used for a while. The milk was past its best, and the toilet made some very peculiar noises.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, with a double bed and a single. The corridors smelled like something, though. I don’t know the ginger-haired staff member’s name, but she was always up for a chat. The first night was cold; the second night she turned the heating on for me. She also washed and dried my jumper. I stayed for two nights in Blackpool and would definitely come back.

The owner was lovely and the beds were comfy. We had a fab three-night stay and would definitely come again. It’s close to the promenade and works well for a lower budget.
