The Elmora Hotel

We were in Blackpool for the Rebellion festival at Winter Gardens, and the location was almost unbeatable. The room was simple but clean and nicely decorated, the staff were very accommodating, and the price was good for what we got. I think this is our best stay in Blackpool so far.

The hosts made the stay feel special from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so welcome. The decor and furnishings are lovely, everything was spotless, and the big shower was a great touch. It’s also right by the attractions. Breakfast was worth every penny, absolutely delicious. We’re already looking forward to bringing our dog next time. They even gave my daughter the idea for a new tattoo. Thank you for making the trip so memorable.

The host was friendly and check-in was straightforward. Our room was up one flight of stairs, with no lift, which was fine for us. It was very small, with just a little shelf, kettle and lamp at the foot of the bed, plus hooks for clothes. There was no wardrobe or chest of drawers, and the bathroom had no storage either. We could hear people talking and watching TV in the other rooms through the thin walls, and they could probably hear us too. There was a strange air-freshener-like smell when we arrived. No breakfast is served here, though there’s an option at the hotel two doors away.

We booked at the last minute after the first hotel we tried was disgusting, and this B&B was such a relief. The rooms were really clean and the beds were brand new and comfortable. The owner was so kind and lovely to chat with, and even let us check in early. We’ll definitely stay here again, thanks so much!
