The location was handy, right in the middle of everything, and we had a comfortable, happy stay. We used a two-night voucher someone had given us. The owner was lovely, welcoming and friendly when we arrived. Our room was immaculate, with toiletries and towels, plus a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Fresh milk was provided too.

We planned to stay for two nights on our first visit to Blackpool, but ended up staying four. Sam & Bob made us feel welcome, and the place was very friendly, like a home from home. We’ll definitely return, though it would be great if breakfast were available. There was plenty set up to make the stay easy: a vending machine by the entrance for snacks, and local places to visit and taxi numbers listed as you come in. The A4 booklet with Blackpool history and nearby restaurants had clearly been thought through. Our double room had a chest of drawers, hairdryer, TV, fancy chair, bedside tables with lamps, and even a fan. A second room off it had a small dining table with two chairs, a little fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, two plates and bowls, cutlery, plus an ironing board and iron. Beyond that was a modern bathroom with a new shower. Both rooms had central heating, and there were fresh towels and robes. I forgot to take pictures.

We had an amazing time away. The room was gorgeous, really spacious, and the beds were so comfortable. Everything was very clean, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. We’ll definitely book again.

Room 6 was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. Sam was warm, welcoming and really helpful during our lovely mini break. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Blackpool. My partner and I will be back soon.

Sam and Bob were great hosts, and my wife and I had everything we wanted or needed in room 2. The Oxfordshire is a little gem. We’ll most definitely be coming back.
