The kitchenette was disgusting, with flies everywhere, and there was black mould in the bathroom and fridge-freezer. The room was freezing with no heating, overlooked the main road, and had no privacy. It was being used for storage, with a mattress on the floor and bits of furniture, some of it broken. I waited over an hour to check in because you can't enter the building without someone letting you in, and they weren't answering the phone. When someone finally showed me the room, even she seemed embarrassed. Customer service was shocking. I refused to stay, but they won't refund me. Check the photos I uploaded. This was beyond a joke, avoid at all costs.

After my performance in Bradford, I had to drive home at 4am because I had nowhere to stay. I never even got to see the accommodation. I booked for the evening of 27th October, and the confirmation said check-in from 3pm and checkout at noon. I arrived at about 6.30pm after trying to call ahead with my arrival time, but there were no signs to show I was at the right place, just a locked door at the address. I eventually got inside as someone else was leaving, but reception was empty. The number on the confirmation repeatedly said it was no longer available. I emailed to say I was waiting in the foyer and still have had no reply. After 40 minutes there, I gave up. No money ever left my account, so I don't think it was a scam, just appalling service. I'd urge people to avoid it and spare themselves the major inconvenience I faced.
