The mattress was terrible, and the host was just as bad. She completely denied there were any problems. As we were trying to leave, her son sent a German shepherd out to harass us. The worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The views and walks right nearby were stunning, and the room itself was beautiful with an incredible bathroom. The complimentary extras were a nice touch. Christine was a lovely hostess and did all she could to make the stay comfortable.

We woke to sunshine and birdsong at this quiet, remote spot. The place was spotless and had amazing attention to detail, with a good breakfast that covered everything. The owners were friendly and helpful too. I’d highly recommend staying here.

9th-10th September 2021 Spring Paddocks was peaceful, with a lovely outlook, and still close enough to pubs and restaurants. Christine welcomed us and showed us to our immaculate room, which had a beautiful en-suite. There was a small fridge stocked with milk and juice, plus a varied continental breakfast available in the room. We’d happily recommend it to anyone after a quiet place to stay.

The bedroom and bathroom were both large, clean and finished to a high standard. We had the continental breakfast in our room because of Covid 19, which was fine, with plenty to eat and drink. Very nice accommodation. We’d certainly come back and recommend it.
