We only stayed one night on the way home, but it was a lovely stop. Sarah welcomed us warmly and even called a local pub to check when they stopped serving food on Sunday evenings. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was good value, and Nigel cooked a great one. We might stay longer next time.

I hardly ever give five stars, but this guest house earned them. The room was comfortable and the shower was spot on. Our host was easy to reach without hovering, and the service was wonderful.

Nigel made us feel very welcome, and our spacious room had a homely feel. There were lots of food choices, and both the food and service were good. We'd definitely come back. Thank you!

We’ll definitely book again when we're in the area. Our room had a lovely view over the back garden, even in October, and there was plenty of space, including in the en-suite. The separate bath and walk-in shower were a bonus. The host was brilliant and had thought of everything we might need, and the room was spacious even for a family. Nothing to fault.

A tasty full English breakfast set us up for the day, and there's a nice pub just a minute's walk away for dinner. Nigel's guesthouse was a great find, welcoming, clean and tidy. I'll make it my first choice next time work brings me this way.
