Nigel and Sharon were warm, thoughtful hosts, and you can see how much care they put into the business. We loved staying at Pendragon County House. Our clean, comfortable room had lovely personal touches, including a homemade sweet treat. They carried our bags up and showed us around. We were glad we’d booked dinner for our first night. Since we were the only guests dining, Nigel and Sharon set a candlelit table in the library by the log fire. The food was gorgeous. Breakfast the next morning was superb too, with everything homemade, including the bread and preserves. We’ll be back.

I especially enjoyed the breakfast each day, with several options to choose from. The four of us had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely, typically British B&B. Sharon and Nigel were accommodating, helpful hosts who shared lots of information and first class suggestions for excursions nearby. Absolutely recommendable, and a great example of why to choose a B&B over a hotel.

We stayed in Hengroen, which worked really well for two adults and two young children. Nigel and Sharon were friendly and kind, and the EV chargers on site were useful and fairly priced. Dinner was well timed, with the kids eating at 18.00 and the two of us at 19.30. The cooking was superb. Breakfast was delicious, and the kids really enjoyed their plainer meal too. Thanks for a lovely stay, we hope to see you again.

Sharon and Nigel made us feel very welcome, and the room had lots of lovely touches. We enjoyed Sharon’s homemade treats and the welcome sherry in our room. Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade granola. A lovely stay at Pendragon Country House.

Pendragon is run by a lovely family, and the care and attention are clear throughout. The cost is relatively high, but the personal care made it feel justified. We were a large family with young kids, staying four nights while travelling around Cornwall, and they understood our needs and made us comfortable. They also offered extras at additional cost, including a carefully prepared, nicely presented picnic basket for a beach day. Nigel and Sharon’s dinner is worth trying. We ate there one evening, and the meal was made and presented to a very high standard, with decent portions. They cook with fresh local ingredients, including some vegetables and herbs grown in house. Breakfast deserves a mention too, with a good choice of hot, continental, and cereal options. It was probably the best selection I’ve had at any B&B. The Full Cornish English and Rarebit were lovely. We’re looking forward to coming back. Thanks again, Nigel and Sharon. P.S.
