Strozzi Palace Luxury Boutique Suites

I booked through Agoda for my fiancée's birthday, hoping to give her a different kind of night away. After checking in through the app, I waited for access to the key, but it never came. They then said I had to pay a £250 security deposit, even though I live quite close to the Suites, which they said was weird. I spent three hours trying to get either my money back or access to the key. Agoda was great in the end. I wonder if someone with only that money available would have had trouble staying at the Suites. Maybe only rich people need apply?

The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy, with comfortable, good quality furniture and a nice bed. We stayed in the tuscany suite for a long weekend and thought it was great value. Booking was straightforward, and the information beforehand was helpful. On the day, we got a courteous call with the room details and were told the air con had been left running to cool the place. It was easy enough to find, and the location worked well, with a short walk to both the brewery quarter and town centre. We'd love to come back.

The apartment had a polished, high-end finish, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Security was excellent. It's about five minutes from the center of Cheltenham, and if the parking is full, there are plenty of street spaces right outside and on the adjoining roads. Can't wait to try another place with this company.

Our three nights in the Napoli Suite at the Strozzi Palace were lovely, and we're already looking forward to returning. Ray gave us such a warm welcome and was charming and helpful throughout. The suite had a contemporary, high-end finish and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The tray was stocked with tea and other treats, and there was fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge, along with biscuits and cereals. Bathrobes, slippers and Temple Spa toiletries were a nice extra. The Strozzi is very handy for the centre, with shops and restaurants close by. We liked Boston Tea Party for breakfast, coffee and snacks, and Muse for its food, especially the Sunday roast. Both are only a few minutes' walk away. We booked parking through the Strozzi, and the car park is just behind the hotel. Paid street parking is also available outside. The direct booking and pre arrival communication went smoothly, so the whole weekend was a great experience. Ray made it all the more special.
