Premier Inn Chorley North

We stayed for my sister’s wedding, and the hotel was just what I expected from the Premier Inn. The bed was wonderful and gave us a great night’s sleep, and the unlimited breakfast is worth the price. There’s also a lovely pub next door right on the canal. I haven’t tried the food there yet, but the setting is beautiful.

It’s clean, the staff are helpful, and I stay here often because it’s handy for visiting family. I avoid the summer months, though. There’s no air-conditioning, and trying to sleep in a room above 25°c with a winter-weight duvet isn’t much like the Premier guarantee of a good night’s sleep, even with the large fan in each room. There are no sockets near the beds, and if you open the windows, the industrial air-conditioning machines at the nearby gym are loud.

The Malt House pub next door was a little more expensive than we’d hoped, but the food and staff were beyond excellent, even helping with our fussy 11 year old. The hotel is right by the canal, so there are easy, relatively flat walks. Inside, our room was spotless and airy, and the beds were comfortable as usual. Everyone on staff was great with us and the kids. This has to be the best Premier Inn we’ve stayed at. We’ll definitely come back, hopefully soon. Fantastic work, everyone.

Another visit to our favourite Premier Inn. It’s well placed for Southport and the lakes, and the rooms are immaculate. The staff are really friendly, and breakfast is lovely, especially ILONA, who’s an absolute credit to the team. We’ll be back, thank you.
