The steak and stilton baguette is well worth trying. I had lunch there on Saturday and the locally sourced food was fabulous, top quality and very reasonably priced. They serve proper real ales from Clun Brewery, which is behind the pub. A great traditional place with friendly staff.

We enjoyed the friendly locals' banter by the roaring fire through a rainy afternoon, and ended up staying an extra night. The White Horse was such a lovely find for a cosy January break. Our room was clean, comfortable and cosy, and everyone at the welcoming pub, from the owner and staff to the locals, was lovely. The staff were so obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The homemade meals came out piping hot, breakfast was particularly nice and Sunday lunch was exceptional. We loved our stay and will definitely return. Thankyou 🙂

The fish and chips were especially good, some of the best I've had, and the rest of the food was great too. I stayed for two days with my dog. The staff made us feel welcome, and my spacious room had everything I needed. A great place to stay.

The crumble was very good, and the pie, though not a real pie, was still tasty. This is a friendly, popular pub with good food and beer. At £18.95, the fish and chips felt a bit overpriced for what it was. There was meant to be a small reduction for ordering two desserts, but I only noticed later that it hadn't come off the bill.

The little garden out back is cosy, and the pub has a friendly local community feel, a nice menu and very good service. I first stumbled across it by accident and liked it. Went back with the kids and would happily visit again. Recommended!
