The Old Hall Hotel

We stopped in for coffee on the way home, remembering the hotel we used to visit back in the 70s. The coffee shop was lovely, the coffee had a rich flavour, and the server was friendly and chatty. They told us about the place and changes to improve the wedding venue, including a conservatory. We’ll definitely add it to our list of coffee stops.

The afternoon tea at The Old Hall made my 50th birthday feel special. There was plenty to eat, and since we couldn't finish it all, the staff gave us boxes to take the rest home. Nobody hurried us out, either. We had a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. They kept the tea coming, checked that everyone was happy, and even took group photos, much better than I would have managed. Reception had also been really helpful when I booked and later adjusted things for our group of 15, including different tastes and dietary needs. There are several afternoon tea menus to choose from, so there seemed to be something for everyone. We all enjoyed it, and I'd happily recommend a visit.

After school, my teenage son and I often stop by the coffee shop for a treat. The cakes and drinks are a nice selection, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff always make him feel welcome, especially the blonde lady whose name I don't know. She goes out of her way for him. One time his card was declined, but they still let him get what he wanted and let me pay later.

Georgie, the Service Manager, did a brilliant job coordinating my sister's wedding across two separate rooms. She was thorough, professional, and dedicated, and her attention to detail kept everything running smoothly. A big thank you to her and all the staff who helped make the day so special. The Old Hall Coventry looked spectacular, and its setting and atmosphere added a lot to the celebration. We were all delighted with the service and the venue. The whole experience exceeded our expectations, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend The Old Hall Hotel, Coventry, to anyone planning a special day.
