The room was clean and nicely presented, with fresh towels and bedding and a spotless bathroom. Staff kept topping up the breakfast and checking everything was alright. The buffet had a reasonable spread, including a full English, cereal, fruit, pastries, coffee and juice. We liked the stay and would happily use the place again at this price. This was our first time here. The desk staff greeted us warmly and made check-in easy. It’s near the stadium, handy for gigs or football, and only a five-minute drive from plenty of restaurants. There’s also a small bar at reception.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the customer service was great. Breakfast was a very nice buffet. The hotel is close to the city centre, about 7-8 minutes by car, and has its own parking for around £7-8 for 24 hours. The bed was comfy, and coffee and tea were provided. Wifi was free throughout the hotel. The heating seemed to work like AC and took a while to warm the room. The TV had standard Freeview, which was slow to change channels. More channels, or a smart TV with apps like YouTube and Netflix, would be a nice option.

Breakfast was a mess at 8:50. Every table had dirty dishes on it, and staff tried to take our plates while we still had plenty of food. The hash browns were dry and hard, and the sausages were overcooked. The shower was dirty too. For £205, this wasn’t worth it, and we won’t be back or recommend it. It’s a shame, as the hotel is near the football stadium. The family room was cramped, and the bed left no usable space at the desk, so I couldn’t work there. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with metal that caused me a bad back. The room was for three, but there were towels, cups and glasses for only two.

The location is perfect, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the lighting could be brighter. Most of the staff were good, especially the kitchen team. Two front desk staff were obnoxious, and I felt slightly that they were racist.

The people were extremely kind and helpful, and the food and drinks were good. I arrived late last night at around 00.10, and the staff still fixed me a pizza. Highly recommend this place.
