Urrard Bed Breakfast

After six days on the NC500, this was a warm, welcoming B&B for our last night before flying back to London. Alison took care of all the little things, even our wet coats, and offered us a dram of single malt that we gratefully enjoyed. The photos show the care taken to make the stay relaxing. The room had everything from bathrobes to designer hair products. I really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

I booked room 3 at short notice for one night. It doesn't have an en-suite, but it has its own private bathroom, and both rooms were lovely and perfectly clean. The shower was great. Being on the roadside, you can hear traffic, though earplugs were provided. I had my own and didn't use them. There were lots of nice extras: a little dram of whiskey, a great tea and coffee selection, a very soft bathrobe and slippers. The single bed was comfortable too, with lovely bedding. I forgot to mention when booking that I'm coeliac, but told Alison at check-in that evening. She was very accommodating and gave me one of the nicest breakfasts I've had, including two perfectly poached eggs and gluten-free toast. It's a homely, welcoming property with a relaxed atmosphere, and Alison was the perfect host. I'd highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous night while walking to JOG. The room was superb, with a comfy bed, a great shower and lovely little extras, including sweets and a nip for bedtime. Breakfast and luggage transfers were included too. Thanks, Alison, you've got a grand guest house. Highly recommend.

Alison has gone to great lengths to fill the place with everything you could want, and it's decorated fabulously. I really can't add much to the other reviews, this is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in.
