Magdalena made us feel at home, chatting with us while she cooked a scrumptious breakfast. It was a full English, with vegetarian options if needed. She was a great host the whole time, even helping out during a minor emergency in the night, tweezers at the ready. Best not say more about that! The B&B is quiet, with large rooms and a big bathroom. There's a small garden with lovely views where you can relax. It's near Hay-on-Wye, and the Pandy Arms is close by for traditional pub food.

Breakfast was cooked fresh and just right, and Magdalene was such a warm, attentive host. She made time to sit and chat, and by the end it felt like we'd made a friend. Nothing was too much trouble. Zackopane House is a lovely wooden house with a beautiful room, comfy beds and peaceful, gorgeous surroundings. We had a perfect, relaxing stay and would happily come back or recommend it to anyone. A real gem, with unique buildings and a fantastic host. The place is peaceful, the accommodation really cosy, and breakfast was incredible. I'd recommend it to anyone after something a bit different from a standard B&B.

The pub next door serves locally sourced food, and its staff were friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our night here. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the hostess was warm and helpful with our requests. Breakfast was lovely too.

We had a very nice breakfast outside in a cosy dining area, with Magdalena cooking a lovely full English using quality produce. She was extremely helpful, and you can tell how much pride she takes in the building and its heritage. It's a beautiful wooden place, with a spacious, well-designed room and great views, as the attached photos show. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you.
