Bide Collective is in a perfect spot for exploring Edinburgh, and the rooms are really spacious. Ours was immaculately presented and clean, with everything we needed, from bottled water to a hairdryer and fan. The bed was comfortable, if a bit small for such a large room, and there were plenty of pillows. The hosts made the whole experience smooth from check-in, though checkout at 10am was a little early. The shared bathroom was inconvenient and did take away from the stay, even though the hosts worked hard to keep it clean. Our front-facing room was also fairly loud. On a hot day we had to pick between opening the windows for a breeze and keeping things quiet. Even so, I’d highly recommend staying here. For the Fringe, it’s one of the better places we’ve had at this price.

Getting around downtown was easy from here. The room was really comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were kept very clean. For the price, they worked just fine.

We'd happily stay here again. It's a clean, budget-friendly spot close to everything in Edinburgh's Old Town. The shower pressure was awful, though, and the Wi-Fi in our top-floor room only reached our phones if we went a couple of steps downstairs. They said they were working on improving it.

Such a handy place, with the train station within walking distance and lovely shops, cafes, and restaurants right nearby. It was an easy, accommodating stay for a good price.

The location was spot on, and the accommodation was lovely, though small. Be ready for quite a lot of stairs with your luggage. The owner can be a little terse when messaging, but I still think it's worth a visit.
