The apartment is large, in a quiet area, and has a nice sea view. I'm staying in one of the Airbnb apartments here. Just be aware it's a 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket and tram stop.

It's a really good part of the city to live or stay in, though I wouldn't say it's an area worth visiting.

There's not much to see here, just dirty old buildings. Parking is a nightmare, with operators charging by the second. The roads are dirty, the restaurants are expensive, and the drunks act like they're having a grand time. Greed at its best. Yikes.

All twelve of us had a great family trip to Edinburgh. We spent most of our time relaxing in the apartment and taking in the views, and used the time to plan a spontaneous trip through the highlands. We'll be back as soon as we can.

The sea views are incredible. It's quiet and lovely for a walk, a run, or taking the dog out. The Skyview gives you the complete picture of Edinburgh.
