The owners were lovely, welcoming, kind, and very hospitable. The location was great too, with a bus stop right outside and more stops a 5-8 minute walk away. There are restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores close by, and the city centre is fairly near. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, making it a good place to rest between days out. We had a private bathroom outside the bedroom. I didn’t see other guests using it, but I’d have felt more comfortable if it had a lock and key. Even so, I highly recommend staying here.

When I lost my phone in a cab on the first day, the staff managed to find it without any information about the ride and had it back at my door in just 20 minutes. They clearly care. The rooms were elegant, amazing, and clean, and the guest house sits in a peaceful neighbourhood about 20 minutes from the city centre. As a frequent traveller, this is the best guest house I’ve ever booked, not just in the UK. We’ll absolutely be back.

We spent four nights here and really liked it. The room was spacious, very clean, and had good ventilation. The owner was super friendly and helped us with our activities. It’s a really convenient spot, right in front of a bus stop. We highly recommend it.

The host was kind and accommodating, and the location made it easy to visit Edinburgh without using the car. We stayed two nights in a very clean, comfortable family room with an en-suite bathroom. Certainly recommended.
