The Townhouse

The room was gorgeous, with lovely attention to detail and tasteful, thoughtful furnishings. The towels, soaps, and other amenities felt luxurious. I was in Leith from Dec 7-9th and really enjoyed the neighbourhood, with its cafes, restaurants, art spaces, and lovely walks right by Leith Links. There are plenty of ways to get into the centre, including the tram and the 35 train. Service was prompt and very responsive. When I asked to have the heating turned down, they sorted it immediately. I'd recommend this without hesitation.

We slept well in this fairly quiet area, and there was a Tesco nearby for quick grocery runs. The rooms were tidy, very clean, and nicely decorated. Service was great too, Karla was polite and kind. Definitely recommend.

The Townhouse is across from Leith Links, an old golf course that's now a public park where local families, dog walkers, and runners spend time. Leith felt cosy and relaxed, with relatively few tourists. It's a little away from the main attractions, but easy enough to reach the city centre by tram or bus. Inside, the rooms were thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and the kitchenette was handy. Our host Erika greeted us with fresh-baked bread and a bottle of milk, a lovely welcome. They were quick to respond when we asked about adjusting the heating, which we were figuring out at the end of January. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

Erika gave us such a warm welcome, and every little detail felt considered, from the tasty bread, milk, and butter to the hair dryer and conveniently placed sockets. A beautiful place and a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it!
