The 'Retreat' feels cosy and like a home from home. We've been staying here for years, and it's such a good base for exploring Northumberland. You can walk to the beach and enjoy lovely paths with views of Dunstanburgh Castle. Seahouses, Bamburgh, Beadnell and Alnwick are only short drives away. If you'd like to see sunrises like this, I'd highly recommend it. Great to see the shower has been refurbished too.

We've come for a second visit and love the place. The sea view is beautiful, and having an indoor pool is the icing on the cake. The facilities are fantastic and it's well placed for visiting the local area. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The cottage was lovely, and we'd come back. A great place to stay.
