Mike and Mandy were warm, friendly hosts, and after a quick hot tub tutorial they left us to enjoy our own space. We stayed for Valentine’s Day and really appreciated the lovely themed set-up in the annex. There was everything we needed for a night or two, including a breakfast table, mini cereals, milk in the fridge, bread, butter and jams, tea and coffee, a kettle, and plates, bowls, mugs, cups and cutlery. They’d also left local information and restaurant menus on laminated sheets. We walked five minutes to The Fighting Cocks and had an enjoyable, generous fish and chips dinner in the restaurant. The food was good quality, and the hospitality was great, especially since we booked that same day on Valentine’s. There’s private parking for guests by the main host’s property. The drive was lovely, with 10-20 minutes of wildlife scenery near the end, including donkeys and cows. It’s an absolute gem near the New Forest. We can’t rate the trip highly enough and hope to be back soon. Thank you both!

Mike and Mandy made us feel so welcome. Everything was fresh and clean, and they’d left rose petals and swan towels after I emailed to say my partner and I were celebrating our anniversary. Such thoughtful touches. We’ll definitely be back.

The Log Cabin was quiet and peaceful, and having our own hot tub made it even better. The owners were brilliant throughout our stay, friendly and happy to help whenever we needed them. We can’t wait to return. Thank you, and see you soon!

We had a fabulous two-night stay for my partner’s birthday in June 2021, and I just realised I never reviewed it! I’d told the owners about the occasion ahead of time, and they decorated the cabin, which was such a lovely touch. It was peaceful, the cabin was gorgeous and just the right size for two, and the hot tub was so relaxing. We did have a mishap while out walking: I sprained my ankle. My partner doesn’t drive, so his parents had to come all the way from Devon to rescue us. The owners were understanding and let us leave the car parked there past checkout while we waited. A great stay apart from the ankle, and we’d definitely return. 😊

Our hosts were cheerful, friendly and helpful for our 4th anniversary. The hot tub was incredible, once you got in you didn’t want to leave! Everything was so clean, with lovely little details: rose petals and swans on the bed, beers on ice, and dressing gowns provided. The continental breakfast was good too, especially the yummy butter. We were pointed to Horse & Groom for dinner, and it didn’t disappoint. Best of all, it gave my boyfriend the setting to ask me to MARRY HIM!!!!! Thank you both, we’ll definitely be back 🥰 10******
