Ard Beag made a great base for exploring. We drove to Ullapool and Skye, and enjoyed a lovely meal at the Boathouse with its views. The Chinese takeaway and the chip shop at the Car Park were both good too. Our four day stay was comfortable, with lovely bedrooms and beds, and a well equipped house. The shower was great, though a suction shelf and an anti slip mat would be useful. We had trouble getting the TVs to work, except for the main lounge one, and the TV in the en suite bedroom wasn’t plugged in, so we couldn’t use it. It’s a pleasant 15 minute walk down to the village. I’d also highly recommend the Loch Ness boat trip.

We’d all be happy to come back. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, in a quiet area with the town centre within walking distance. It was a lovely base for exploring the Ness region.

The cottage was amazing, and it’s a lovely place to relax. There are beautiful surroundings and walks nearby, and we even saw deer appear outside the conservatory. Great location. Nothing negative at all.

We spent a week there with family and friends. It felt like a comfortable, well equipped home from home, in a beautiful spot for walks to and around Loch Ness.
