We had one of the best Sunday Lunches here, and the menu had plenty of options at more than fair prices. The chef and Team clearly know what they’re doing. Drinks were also fairly priced, with an excellent range. Inside, it’s cosy, spotless and inviting, with a nice mix of modern and traditional. It works just as well for a meal as for a drink or snack. The staff were so welcoming, especially the lady behind the bar, who went above and beyond for us. I can’t thank them enough or recommend the place highly enough. I couldn’t find a single fault. It deserves to do really well.

We found a real gem here. Eve and the staff were so hospitable when we stopped by for drinks on Saturday afternoon that we booked Sunday lunch too. The food was exceptional, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks, Full Moon Inn, see you all soon!

We had the function room for a family gathering, and the atmosphere was just right. There were 24 of us for lunch, but it all ran smoothly and the food arrived together, simply fabulous. Plenty for everyone, including great vegetarian options. It was a happy, easygoing get-together with no hassle. Thanks especially to Richard and the Full Moon team for looking after us so well.

I went in today out of curiosity, as it had been over 20 years since my last visit. The refurbishment is great and the pub feels very cosy. Sadly, lunch was a letdown. The prices were high and the portions small. The fish and chips had no flavour, the batter wasn’t seasoned, and the cod still had its skin on. I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here. It’s a pity the food was so poor when everything else was lovely.

What a place. We’re here for two nights at the full moon, and the rooms are equipped to a really high standard. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is out of this world, and all the staff are so friendly. We had to head out early on Saturday just as breakfast was starting, but they kindly made us breakfast muffins to take away. Nothing is too much trouble. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a stay, and we’ll definitely return. Thank you x
